My husband Josh and I got married in Maui on 7/11/2024—basically taking no one’s input but our own and saying “hell no” to the traditions we’d come to dread after working weddings together for over 5 years.
The decision to do whatever WE wanted to do is what made it magic. And that’s what I want for you, too: a celebration that puts you first. Not your opinionated aunt. Not Pinterest. Not some imaginary checklist of what a wedding “should” be.
If it makes you happy, it belongs in your day. That’s the only rule.
- Exchanged vows (and tiki mugs) privately by the ocean the day before our actual wedding
- Wore every color but black and white (with a rainbow sequin outfit change for me!)
- Served pizza + tiki drinks from a food truck and a mobile bar
- Included our dogs in the decor via swizzle sticks, signs, and hula bobbleheads
- Turned it into a multi-day vacation with our favorite people

After college in Austin and a dreamy stint photographing in Hawaii, I found my way back to the Alamo City for good.
I live with my husband Josh (who is also my dedicated second photographer + videographer!) and our fluffy sheepdog Charley, who supervises all editing sessions.
Born and raised in San Antonio, I’m Jackie (she/her), your resident wedding weirdo.
